The Silicon Valley Chapter of SCORE has over 65 men and women dedicated to assisting small businesses to grow and prosper. Their volunteer members have diverse backgrounds. Many have started and grown their own successful businesses, some were corporate managers, and others have experience with nonprofit organizations or the government.
Silicon Valley SCORE services include the following:
- Free counseling at locations throughout Silicon Valley, including Los Gatos. Call 354-9300 for an appointment.
- Free Business Library & Information Center with extensive business library, free computer usage and someone to help you find the appropriate information.
- Email counseling via the internet provided by more than 1100 Score business experts throughout the United States.
- Low-cost workshops and seminars to provide you with in-depth information for starting or managing a successful business.
SCORE is a proud resource partner of the Small Business Administration. SCORE has more than 10,500 members and 389 chapters nationwide. The Bay Area is served by four chapters, including the Silicon Valley SCORE chapter 405, which serves Silicon Valley in Santa Clara County. San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties are served by the San Francisco SCORE, the North Bay is served by the North Coast SCORE, and the East Bay is served by the East Bay SCORE.
