    RESOLUTION RUN The Los Gatos Athletic Association helps get your year off on the right foot with this New Year’s Day tradition. The five-mile course starts at Los Gatos High School, goes to the Lexington Dam on the Los Gatos Creek Trail and returns. January 1
     
    SPRING WINE WALK To welcome the warmth and sunshine, the Chamber of Commerce hosts a festive afternoon of wine and shopping in downtown Los Gatos. April
     
    SPRING INTO GREEN Los Gatos celebrates sustainability with this friendly festival featuring tree planting, composting workshops and tips on being green. April
     
    THE GREAT RACE Spring is here! This fun, picturesque course starts in Saratoga and ends on N. Santa Cruz Avenue in Los Gatos, with proceeds benefiting the Los Gatos Rotary Club. Perfect for families. April 
     
    JAZZ ON THE PLAZZ Late June through late August sees world-class musicians setting up in Town Plaza Park every Wednesday evening for Jazz on The Plazz, a quintessentially Los Gatos celebration of summer al fresco. Every Wednesday, June 29 - August 17
     
    MUSIC IN THE PARK is one of the premier summer events hosted by the Town of Los Gatos.  Music in the Park is a free public summer concert series held on Sunday afternoons on the Los Gatos Civic Center Lawn.  Every Sunday, July 17 - August 21
     
    INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVITIES Come relax and enjoy the fun and family friendly activities in Oak Meadow Park.  Celebrating the 4th of July as a community! July 4
     
    DAMMIT RUN The rugged 5-mile course, which starts at the high school, proceeds to the dam and then heads to St. Joseph’s Hill, draws 800 people a year and benefits Los Gatos High School. August
     
    FIESTA DE ARTES Each September, Los Gatos’s beloved art and wine festival brings 150 artists, plus, gourmet food trucks, wine, beer and live music, to town for two days of culture and fun. September 17-18
     
    SCREEN ON THE GREEN Grab the kids and some friends and head down to Oak Meadow Park for a free screening of a family-friendly movie. Check the town website for dates. September
     
    CLAWS FOR A CAUSE The Los Gatos Morning Rotary Club traditionally hosts this wildly popular annual charity fundraiser featuring lobster, libations, music and dancing. lgmorningrotary.club for details
     
    ST. MARY’S  COUNTRY FAIR Organizers have every kind of fun planned for this annual harvest  celebration that happens in the first half of October: carnival rides, game booths, crafts, great food, beer and wine, live music, a talent show … you get the picture. October

    • HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING The holidays truly begin with the lighting of the grand fir tree in Town Plaza Park, planted in 1923 by the Los Gatos History Club. First Friday in December
    • HOLIDAY CARRIAGE RIDES Enjoy a holiday tradition downtown and feel the romance of Christmas past. Ride in an elegant horse-drawn carriage taking you by some of the town’s most beautiful historic homes and along downtown’s festively decorated North Santa Cruz Avenue.     • CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS/ HOLIDAY PARADE Thousands of spectators and participants alike flock to downtown Los Gatos on the first Saturday of December for this annual holiday tradition presented by the Town of Los Gatos, Los Gatos Lions and Los Gatos Saratoga Recreation. First Saturday in December
