Our Shine Among the Stars Gala is an evening designed to celebrate leadership, generosity, and connection. Set across the gardens and gracious spaces of Nestldown, the night unfolds as a series of thoughtfully paced experiences where business, civic, and community leaders gather to recognize the individuals and organizations that help Los Gatos thrive. This is an event meant to be savored, with time to linger, reconnect, and celebrate together.

 

Twilight Welcome Reception | 5:00 to 6:30 PM 

As the sun sets, guests arrive to a welcoming reception featuring live music, passed bites, a curated grazing station, and a bar featuring our signature cocktail, mocktail, wine, sparkling wine, & beer. The elegant Fir Barn and surrounding lawn glow under twinkling lights, setting a vibrant, welcoming tone that invites easy conversation from the moment you arrive.

 

Stars of Los Gatos Awards & Dinner | 6:30 to 8:30 PM

The evening transitions into the marquee experience of the night: the Stars of Los Gatos Awards & Dinner. This is an elevated, cocktail-style dining experience rather than a traditional seated, plated dinner. Guests will enjoy exploring four beautifully curated market stations, followed by dessert, coffee, and tea.  

An inspiring awards presentation anchors the evening. The format is intentionally social, with an appealing mix of lounge seating, cocktail tables, and open dining tables throughout the space. A limited number of reserved tables for eight and reserved cocktail tables are available for those wishing to host colleagues, clients, or friends.

 

At the heart of the evening are the Stars of Los Gatos Awards, honoring five outstanding businesses and leaders whose impact, leadership, and commitment strengthen our community:

• Business of the Year
• New or Emerging Business of the Year
• Chamber Champion of the Year
• Community Impact Award
• Los Gatan of the Year

 

Guests conclude the evening with a curated gift bag as a thank-you for being part of the celebration.

 

Who May Attend?

Shine Among the Stars is designed first and foremost for Los Gatos Chamber members, who receive priority registration through February 27.  General community registration opens February 28, if space is available. Attendance is intentionally limited to preserve the quality of the experience, and this event is expected to reach capacity.

 

What Is the Recommended Attire?

Cocktail attire is requested. We recommend bringing a layer for the cool evening temperatures and wearing stable footwear, as portions of the event take place along outdoor pathways.
